Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is a process of choosing the most appropriate targeted keyword phrases related to your products or services, and ensuring that this ranks your site highly in search engines so that when someone searches for specific phrases (and a place name, if you’re a local business) it returns your site on top of the search results. It basically involves fine tuning the content of your site along with the HTML and Meta tags and also involves appropriate link building process.
Don’t worry if you don’t understand what HTML and Meta Tags are, it’s technical jargon that refers to the computer code that creates your web site.

First let’s discover if your web site is well optimised. This is pretty easy! First let us give you an example of what you should be looking for.
Let’s suppose you’re a massage therapist, and you’re based in Cambridge.
If somebody in Cambridge is using Google to find a local massage therapist, they’re most likely going to type in something like “massage therapist in Cambridge“. Or they may get a bit more specific and type “swedish massage therapist in Cambridge“.
Then they’re going to click on whichever listing looks the most promising at the top of the search results. If you’re a massage therapist in Cambridge and you’re not ranking highly for “Massage Therapist in Cambridge” then you’ve just lost some potential new business. Oops.
So why not go to Google right now and type in “<your service> in <your town>” (don’t include the speech marks).
Are you coming first, or close to first? or are you like most businesses and are nowhere to be seen.
